As a general rule, for laying a new lawn, you need a depth of at least 10cm (4 inches). For new flower beds or vegetable patches, we recommend a depth of 20cm (8 inches) or more. To calculate your requirement, simply multiply the length x width x depth of your area, or contact us and we can help you figure out the exact number of tonne bags required.
Yes. Our premium topsoil is professionally screened to remove large stones, roots, and builders’ rubble. This results in a fine, friable consistency that is easy to rake and level. Unlike “as-dug” soil, our screened topsoil is ready for immediate planting or seeding, saving you the hard work of picking out debris.
We offer flexible delivery options across Galway, Mayo, and Clare. We can deliver in large bulk truckloads or in convenient 1-tonne bags. For bag deliveries, we use a grab lorry, which allows us to lift the bags over walls, fences, or hedges and drop them exactly where you need them (within reach of the crane), minimising manual handling for you.
